23-year-old dead after single-vehicle crash on SR-114 near Dora

DORA, NM (ROOSEVELT COUNTY) – A 23-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on State Road 114 near Dora this weekend that authorities believe may have involved intoxicated driving, according to KRQE News.

The crash happened on SR-114 on Saturday evening, when the driver of a Nissan Sentra, 23-year-old Nehemias Rodriguez, went off the side of the roadway. The Sentra rolled over, and Rodriguez was ejected from the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

Rodriguez, who was reportedly not wearing his seatbelt, may have been under the influence when the accident occurred. Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
