ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A drunk driver injured two cyclists around 10 am Saturday on Unser Boulevard and Kimmick Road, KRQE reported.
Rio Rancho Police said the driver hit two cyclists and immediately fled the scene. Authorities later identified her as Mollie Duran. Duran drove an SUV. Police arrested and charged her for fleeing the scene and causing great harm by a vehicle while driving intoxicated.
Police have not released the cyclists’ names, but they did say they were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
