Two injured, one dead from two-vehicle crash in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A Thursday morning crash at Carlisle Boulevard and Menaul Boulevard in Albuquerque injured two people and claimed one life. 

The collision happened around 4 am, KRQE said. A white Honda Civic speeded, ran a red light, and collided with a white Subaru Forester. 

Both drivers were transported to a hospital. It appears the Honda Civic driver suffered life-threatening injuries, and the Subaru driver succumbed to their injuries and died. 

The drivers’ names have not been released, and it is unclear if the Honda Civic driver was impaired. Albuquerque Police did discover that the Honda Civic was stolen.
