SANTA FE COUNTY, NM – A rollover crash claimed a semi-truck driver’s life Tuesday in Santa Fe County.
The collision occurred near US 285 and NM 41 South before 8 am, The Santa Fe New Mexican reported.
The truck was hauling gravel, although it is unclear what caused the vehicle to flip over.
The driver was pinned and extricated by emergency personnel.
The man, whose name was not released, was taken to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
At the time of reporting, part of US 285 and NM closed but has since reopened.
