Narrative
SANTA FE CO., NM – A female passenger died, and at least three others were hospitalized Sunday after a three-vehicle crash along the highway near Clines Corners.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on US-285 north of I-40, or US Route 66.
The investigation indicates that a southbound Lexus attempted to pass a vehicle by entering the northbound lane, at which point it struck a 2020 Ford F150. A northbound 2021 Toyota was also involved in the collision.
A passenger from the Lexus, identified as Leticia Lancaster-Valois, died in the crash.
Medics transported all three drivers to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
