Narrative
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A pedestrian died on Thursday in Albuquerque after a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection in the City View area.
The incident happened just after 7:30 p.m. in the area of Tramway Boulevard Northeast and Copper Avenue Northeast, which is west of City View Park and northeast of Lauren C. Boles Park.
Police say they found the victim lying in the road. Authorities have not yet identified this person.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to speak with police.
It’s still not clear what caused the driver to hit the pedestrian. A full investigation is underway.
