ALBUQUERQUE, NM – At least one person died in a vehicle versus pedestrian accident along the interstate Friday in the South Valley.
The incident happened sometime before 6:30 p.m. on the northbound side of I-25 in the area of Bobby Foster Road, which is just northeast of the Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge.
The cause and circumstances of the accident aren’t yet known. Officials closed the northbound lanes of I-25 in the area of the crash while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
