ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run in uptown Albuquerque late Tuesday night.

Reports indicate that around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, a car was heading southbound on Louisiana Boulevard, passing through the intersection at Constitution Avenue when it struck an individual crossing Louisiana against the signal.

The unidentified victim was rushed to a local local hospital, where they were pronounced dead later on.

Police are currently searching for the vehicle involved and have yet to determine if factors such as speed or alcohol contributed to the incident.
