Narrative
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian on Thursday at a busy intersection in northwest Albuquerque.
The accident occurred around midnight at the intersection of Coors Boulevard Northwest and St. Joseph’s Drive Northwest, which is northeast of Ladera Golf Course and north of Ladera Shopping Center.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Police say the pedestrian died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity to the public.
The driver involved in the collision stayed at the scene to render aid and speak with police.
The investigation is ongoing.
