NARRATIVE:
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday when his bike collided with another vehicle at a busy Albuquerque intersection.
The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. at the intersection of Monte Vista Boulevard and Marquette Avenue, which is just east of The University of New Mexico.
Police say the crash happened when the speeding westbound motorcyclist neglected to heed a stop sign and crashed into a Toyota sedan. The force of the collision through the victim from their bike, and they died at the scene.
Authorities have not yet identified the deceased.
No other injuries have been reported thus far in connection to the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
