NARRATIVE:
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A cyclist sustained fatal injuries Saturday in a crash involving a bus on the far east side of Albuquerque.
The incident occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Tramway Boulevard Northeast near the westbound on-ramp for I-40. This is just west of Supper Rock.
Police haven’t disclosed any details regarding the circumstances of the accident except to say that cyclist collided with a city bus.
The cyclist died after transport to an area hospital.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the wreck.
A full investigation is underway.
