NADINE, NM – A 38-year-old man died Thursday in a solo crash along a busy roadway in east-central Lea County.
The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. on Nadine Road, which runs the city of Nadine south of Hobbs.
Police say that the driver of a 2003 Ford Ranger was ejected when his vehicle veered off of Nadine Road and overturned. The unrestrained man, identified as Carlos A. Camacho-Rosas, died at the scene of the accident.
Authorities do not suspect intoxication. A full investigation is underway to determine why the driver left the roadway.
