NAVAJO DAM, NM – Two people were killed Sunday when their vehicle careened off of a cliff near Navajo Dam.
NMSP say 31-year-old Rachel Khawaja failed to navigate a curve on while driving on NM-539 in Navajo Lake State Park, causing her vehicle to crash off the roadway.
Khawaja and her passenger, 53-year-old Glenn Taketa, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
