Single rollover I-25 crash kills 33-year-old man in Socorro County

SOCORRO COUNTY, NM – A single rollover crash on I-25 in Socorro County claimed one man’s life around 7:45 pm Sunday.

KRQE said the man was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado pickup on I-25. It is unclear why, but the man ventured off course and swerved in the northbound lanes on I-25. Then his truck flipped over.

According to New Mexico State Police, the man was not driving under the influence but did fail to wear a seatbelt. As a result, the man died on the scene. He was identified as 33-year-old Jesus A. Prospero-Vazquez of Los Lunas.
